I have a difficult time keeping my forehead warm. Balaclava often either doesn't sit against my forehead or shifts up during the ride. Sometimes I'll wear a helmet liner under the balaclava, but it often gets pull higher as I'm trying to get the balaclava over it.
Most of the rinks on natural bodies of water were abandoned when I was riding around today. A thaw a few weeks ago accompanied with some rain left the ice all bumpy. Between the start and end of my ride these appeared.
