>>1127469I'm not the anon that sprays WD40 to push water out of their shifters since I'm a single speeder but that seems like a perfect job for WD40 along with shifters not requiring too heavy of a lube I'm assuming. WD40's lubricating properties are too thin for my taste as a chain lube. I like my chain a healthy greasy black after week of riding thanks to gear oil in a tiny squeeze bottle. A good tooth brushing and rag wiping without degreasing, then another application of gear oil works for me since the beginning of time but it's important to wipe the excess of it'll be too messy. Smooth and silent rust free chain ever since.
