Filthy burgers drive much more than an average european and the inhabitant density is lower. For example Texas is double the size of Italy and 28 million people live there meanwhile in Italy live 59 million people.
Burger roads are more dangerous as they are wider and forgiving thus they encourage speeding and unsafe behavior and the average burger driver is really incompetent. BUT the difference in roads fatalities is NOT that drastic as the map shows.
If you drive of the road in Europe you hit a tree or a wall and fucking die, in North America you have wide shoulders, a sidewalk and a lot of grass to slow down before hitting something.
