One time back in the 90's I got bullied by a kid at the skate park and his douchebag friends with NO FEAR shirts and JNCO jeans for wearing a helmet. Nothing clever or original, they just called me "Helmet". "Go down the ramp, Helmet!" One day he grabbed my board unprovoked and threw it into the mud outside the park. The park was situated just outside the Rec Center/Police Station with cameras pointing at it (small town vibes). A cop came out within a few minutes and kicked him and all his sorry ass friends out of the park. I watched him as he begged the cop to let them stay, then whined and begged the cop to be allowed to use a phone in the police station, then whined and begged for some quarters to use a payphone. He eventually had his mommy show up in her mini van to pick him up, abandoning his friends to walk home in the Texas Summer heat.
Another time I got more gently mocked for wearing a helmet, but being older and more mature I knew I could truckslap him in the temple if he tried to take my board. Turns out I didn't need to, since shortly after it started raining and the dumbshit took off down the wet wooden quarter pipe and promptly broke his jaw. I saw multiple teeth flying through the air like pulverized pellets of white glitter. I walked up to him while he was screaming and bleeding all over the pavement fucking up everyone's sesh and said "guess you wish you had a helmet now!".
