Without coercion, humans fall victim to every sin imaginable and self destruct. Unfortunately, modern society has discarded traditional morality, so now people feel mostly free to do whatever it is that makes them feel good without consideration for anything or anyone else. Cars are the ultimate manifestation of amoral Western individualism, and the world will be destroyed in a climate apocalypse for the hedonistic selfishness of the few (cagers are a minority, globally). If humanity is to survive, a lot of coercion will be needed.
