i did the 30th (and supposedly last) nyc century hosted by transportation alternatives this past sunday. the weather was great - sun with some clouds, about 75 degrees. i was mostly by myself or hopping group to group, then fell in with a couple chill bros for the last 30 miles. saw a few crashes and near misses. came up on a roadie who managed to snap his chain, he said his group just shrugged and left him. i had my chain tool so i put his shit back together and rode with him for a bit before he went to catch his group again. felt good to help.
