>>1184070I'd tilt the nose of the saddle down slightly if you haven't tried that. It's easy to experiment with that before you buy anything. you want your body contact with the seat to center on your "sit bones", which connect to the rear, circular shaped parts of the saddle.
if you're 220 because you're a burly linebacker build, a wider saddle could help. If your hip bone is normal and your ass is just fat, a wide saddle will stretch you out and that may explain the undue pressure on your taint. But saddle choice is very personal.
keep body contact balanced between hands on grips, balls of feet over pedal spindle, and sit bones on saddle. the nose _too_ far forward will lean you, putting more pressure on hands, may eventually lead to inflammation there, but you can back it off. remember it's a balancing act.
