on aluminium track frames it's common to smooth out the welds except around the bottom bracket area and where the chain/seat stays join the track ends. road bikes might tend to look less elegant than that trek even with sanded down welds because they have a smaller steerer diameter and there's less sculpting going on with the tubing profiles.

got this as a frameset, haven't built it yet
the quality is top notch and the paint looks dope irl it's some sort of multi layer paint with the solid red with like a fluorescent pink and little flakes underneath that really makes it pop (i got a dab of pure pink overspray inside the seat tube so i'm not imagining things)
there are some other bikes that use the same aero seatpost and some of the same aluminium tubing but i had a real turd from a literally who brand so don't assume that they're all the same quality
