typically the only metrics i'm interested in when training is watts, heart rate and cadence.. and overall time and distance so i know how much I training per week..
i think counting calories is largely irrelevant for most normal fit people. i think the best approach is to have common sense and try to eat healthy instead of counting calories like an autist.
