tubeless and hookless are still memes especially on narrower tires like 25mm, right? some people are shilling tubeless and hookless rims like they're the norm. the average person who isn't racing doesn't need every last marginal gain and the tubeless is more expensive. some people don't have issues with punctures because they know how to mount their tires without pinching/twisting/stretching the tubes and they use quality tubes and don't ride in the gutter. pic related is with latex tubes, 25mm gp 5000 is 27.2W and 25mm gp 5000 TLR is 28.5W. TLR without tubes would be about the same as the clinchers with tubes.
