The roundabout only has three exits for traffic. The northern exit through a pedestrian zone is only for one bus line that is southbound. The east-west road is limited to 30 kph so there is no big problem with the zebra crossings. As nobody wants to u-turn using the roundabout, the only cars blocked when the tram goes through the roundabout are cars coming from east that are southbound.
Just moved to this neighbourhood and as this is pedestrian-heaven, it is a very sensible solution all things regarded.
