Anyway, I feel the opposite; that I don't see it as often anymore. It's a "traditional bend" bar, which will often come in shallow and deep varieties. More modern "ergo", "anatomic", or "compact" drops often make it easier to get a very flat, horizontal transition from bar to hood.
