I'm sure if you went back 120 years or so people would be saying the same thing about the automobile. The thing with *modern cities*, is they are always changing & adapting. Look at governments around the world, look at some auto manufacturers, they're all planning for the production of only electric vehicles within the next few decades. You sound like one of those if it ain't broken it don't need fixing types.
