I own a 172 and the Coast guard aux unit will cover operating costs to fly my plane only thing is I need to get a maritime radio installed.
CAP seems like a whole big ROTC want to be military thing with not too much flight time and I would have to fly their planes.
I am also in Hawaii where the Coast Gaurd would have alot larger mission.
Have any of you worked with them?
