The lockring will loosen counterclockwise. Then the cup also comes out counterclockwise. If it's in really good shape and not all gross and rusty, you may be able to get it out by hand. The ideal tool is a pin spanner to go in those holes like pic related, but again, a screwdriver and a hammer may work.
