In moderate rush hour you don't have much area, but you have a lot of vertical free space.

And I am not even considering, that bike is heavier (since it has no motor), and the fact, that you can carefully put deck of unfolded kickscooter under seat (pic is somewhat related), thus saving a lot of space, and folding time.
Also I am not considering, that I'd prefer to stand, rather than seating on bicycle seat while riding.
