As soon as as there is a single flaw in you carbon whatever it's a write off and safety issue however with Alu I have had a crack develop and take 10 years to fail... they are entirely different beasts Andy shop has been almost burned and out of pocket doing carbon waranties for customer... it's all a nightmare TBPH
