>>1848058The 90s cranks were light because they didn't have internal axle. The bottom bracket was 200g for high end, like 400g for basic stuff. These days XTR BB is 60g, deore maybe 100g.
Shimano did make GRX in polished silver just recently. Not sure what I feel about it, probably would just get black.
btw it is really easy to deanodize aluminum parts if you want silver colour. I've done it couple of times for aliexpress chainrings and other chink stuff with cheap looking anodizing.
