>>1856889>Straight up lying.Every city budget is different but on average (with the exception of NYC, interestingly), around half of their budget is police with a comparatively small public works department. I would think that the "muh suburbs get subsidized" crowd would be on the same wavelength of the "police get too much money" crowd, which have compiled some of these helpful budget charts which I have added.
