>>1871320I “bought” the XTR m952 shifter/brake levers and the front derailleur. The shifters are MIA and I was notified by eBay I was scammed out of 120€ with no available recourse because the seller defrauded a bunch of people. Got the front derailleur. Has taken months to find an m952 top pull 34.9 mm clamp size that wasn’t beat to shit or a frick ton of money. Went to put it on and found that one of the hinges at a rivet behind the cage and between the clamp was broken off. Reached out to the seller to see what they want to do about it and am waiting for a reply.
Not all was lost for the day. Performed a much needed rear dropout and derailleur hanger alignment. The dropouts were misaligned by about 3/16” vertical plane and 1/8th” horizontal plane. Der. hanger was canted inward by about 1/4” over about 12.5” on the gauge.
If anyone here has the shifter/brake combos and/or the front derailleur at a reasonable price and in good condition let me know.
