What you, as a bicycle newbie and probably anyone else, really want as your first bike is just that: A bicycle. A normal bicycle. No bells, no whistles, nothing specialized. Something that does everything kind of well. Not a this-bike or that-bike or whatevs.
Since you're getting little practical advice I'll attach
