Like, a modernish cannondale aluminum framed road bike is tight at tits. light, stiff, strong. A steel surly is made of whatever mid-tier steel, heavy as nuts. Well made, though.

But modern bikes are almost always 4130 Chromoly and lack soul just as much as an aluminum framed, carbon-forked roadie. But the aluminum bike is probably
