I've been riding this beater MTB that fit like shit. I have the seatpost all the way up and this has pushed my body too far away from the bottom bracket, even with the saddle all the way forward. Basically, when the cranks are parallel to the ground, my front knee is behind the ball of my foot. Pretty uncomfortable to ride for anything over 20km.
I don't want to give up on it just yet so I've been trying to think of (non-expensive) ways to fix this.
Stumbled upon these seatpost types on ebay called "layback" and "snake," whose original purpose was to move the saddle backwards. I've been thinking of trying them but in reverse.
Your thoughts?
