I remember a few years ago i paid fucking 500 dollars for a tiny room in a house and i had to share the bathroom with these sketchy old dudes, when i first moved to that town. That is ridiculous and it's only laws and governments preventing cheap rooms being offered for people. And on top of that the norm now is a one year commitment on the lease, fucking insane that is the bottom tier, and obviously not natural market forces.
I saw an advertisement for a sort of flop house and it was still 400 a month and you had to share the goddamn room with someone else. Retarded, and this was in the suburbs.
