The 12-32 sram is a nice cassette.
Get a matching 850 or 870 sram chain which have quicklinks so you can change the derailer if you need to.
Try reversing your b-screw first. The 105 mech might actually shift it.
If not then find a long cage 7/8 speed mech. They're extremely common parts. A lower-spec one like the STX pic rel would be practically free. As long as it doesn't have much slop it will work as well as any other. New mech is stupid. Road link is stupid.
39t chainring is a good idea if you can find a good used one. That will make a difference.
