all examples of bikes designed to be loaded, ie, deal with extra weight. They'll have stronger wheels, stiffer frames, and very low gearing. Any touring bike would be good for a big lad.
Conventional advice might be to just buy a hardtail mtb but I don't think they're nearly as fun or suitable for road riding especially if you aim to lose double digit weight pushing yourself on it.
