The dropper thing - when going down a difficult terrain, it is beneficial to lower your seat. A dropper allows to do it on the fly, so it is a massive boost to ergonomy. Especially when your trail is comprised mostly of short-ish downhills - as riding mountain chains tends to be ( take a look at the pic - see the path on the other mountain, I was ascending it 10 minutes later ).
Now I need to wait for that meloxicam to kick in. This boomer corpse of mine starts to show its age.
