>>1004994>Randall's islandI think I might hit this next time. Thanks for the tip.
Biking down to Coney Island was a little boring, but seeing the jewish neighborhood and eating in the Russian neighborhood by the shore was cool. Riding on the boardwalk was chill too.
>>1004989Hey babe. In Philly the West River Drive on a nice weekend is so chill I can't even begin to think about it.
There used to be some very cool stuff to see down in the Navy Yard. Abandoned suburban housing from the navy guys. There were deer running around, weeds 4 feet high, a blown up car. It was like recent-apocalypse stuff. I think it's been torn down, but worth checking out. Only open to the public on weekdays until around 6pm.
I like riding to John Heinz Wildlife Refuge, taking Passyunk > Essington > Holestein > parking lot to skip Bartram > Island Ave > Lindberg. The ride is grim and dirty, but I like that. Then you get to the park and see awesome birds and it's an oasis
Riding up under the El in kensington is a trip. Take it to Torresdale and go to Pennypack creek park for some nature riding
I've riding to Atlantic City and to Sea Isle City. Both rides were awesome - minus the suburban traffic getting out of Camden.
Riding around Camden is insane. Go in the morning when the crack heads are hibernating and pretend you are in Fallout
Cobbs Creek parkway isn't bad. Taking the Spruce and Walnut bike lanes across the city is cool too.
Forbidden Drive is kinda cool but I don't MTB much I have no explored the mtb trails that I've seen going off the main route
still ranting
Schuykill River trail to Pheonixville is cool. I have a crackpot plan to take it all the way to Reading next month. Hopefully without getting murdered
Philly is a magical place if you enjoy high crime sight seeing
