>>1003308Beechcraft is like the shittiest aircraft manufacture.
I'm not dissing Beech because of an opinion, It's because of facts. Besides, I own a Beech Travelair.
But, every single one of their planes has serious wing issues.
Take the T-34 (military bonanza) for example, there are at least 5 wing ADs. The North American T-28, which came out at the same time has 0 wing ADs. Matter of fact, the T-28A only has 3 ADs total. One for the Hamilton Standard prop (AD is for every HamStand prop in the US regardless of the aircraft), another AD for a engine data plate stamp, and the last AD for a nose gear inspection.
At the beginning of Vietnam, the Douglas A-26 was having wing failures from fatigue and stress cracks. Guess who built the wings on contract for Douglas. That's right, Beechcraft.
Coincidence?
>>1012170They are called doctor/lawyer killers because when they first came out, they had magnesium ruddervator hinges that corroded like there was no tomorrow. So, a bunch started falling out of the sky within a few years after it came out. And the only people who were flying them at that time were doctors/lawyers.
