Kind of poor but charming little country. I've only been there because my family comes from there.
In terms of tourism, you have things like the Andes mountains, the volcanoes, the Amazon rainforest, old Spanish colonial architecture in the larger cities, pretty standard stuff in terms of South America, but also there's hot springs that are popular tourist draws, sightseeing train tours, the middle of the world monument/equatorial line, and the Galapagos Islands.
