ITT: Above-ground station buildings for underground rail lines. As in anything that isn't just a stairway.

We have a few. This one is quite old

The building has been re-done on this one, which has been there since it opened in 1925. The line, which was the very first metro line, passed through there since 1924, but for some reason this station opened one year later.

I really like the stations of former Stadtbahn, nowadays U4 and U6 of metro in Vienna by Otto Wagner in Secession style.

Every station in Toronto except the ones downtown have surface level buildings. Also all of them except something like 4 or 5 have a bus terminal attached to them.

Yes. Both Montreal and Toronto rely on feeder buses for like half of their city's daily transit trips and if you have to wait an hour outside in the middle of winter it can be deadly.

Pic related is one of the only metro entrances in Montreal that isn't a building. It's an original donated from Paris.

I read about those they are in Japan with airlocks in front of the platforms because of express trains passing through the tunnel.
