The obessive tweaking of every frame. None are ever good enough

No part is ever perfect. No saddle properly aligned. By the time the bike fits comfortably, you have lost interest in its purpose. You want a frame bag. You want 1x. You want disc

None are good enough

All of my bike are garbage. After spending thousands of dollars on tools and parts, I am left with three half built bikes that I hate and don't want to look at

I hate them so much

I hate dragging them up the basement stairs

I hate maintenance

I hate talking about bike parts

I hate that my cranks at 5mm too long for optimal riding

I hate that rivmemes wasted so much of my money

I hate that fredmemes did the same

I hate not being aero

I hate wearing spandex

I hate the prep work for a long ride

I only want to do long rides
I hate wind

I hate my wheelset that isn't disc but has a 135mm rear so it's fucking useless now. Thanks $400

Worst hobby. Literally losing my mind with obsessive bike thoughts

I will become insane

My next bike will be my last.

It will be 1 speed or fixed

It will be a touring bike with full fenders and a homemade frame bag

I will use it to torture my body and mind

I never want to remove another cassette

I never want to adjust another seatpost

I never want to think about a bike ever again.

I just want long slow rides and maybe for a a comet to come destroy this planet and every bike on it
