>>1032233My mistake, I did some research and you are correct. I could've sworn road mechs ditched the barrel adjuster like MTB ones. I'm not a roadie so don't I'm not the most knowledgeable, likewise I can't tell the age of those shifters by looking at them (I would've guessed fairly new based on it being a quite modern frame and I know there are still some current shifters with side exit cables).
My point still stands for the front mech though, without that in line adjuster it'd be a pain to get it indexed, and I suppose if you may as well adjust both in the same area and close to the shifters instead of having to move back and forth.
