Report: the bustrain demo is now abandoned in a hanger in Hebei, untouched for over two months and covered with full of ashes according to staff and they are unable to contact higher ups in the company
Also, they occupied 3 lanes out of a 6 lanes road for testing. Those 3 lanes are currently bustrain-only and normal cars can't drive in despite there are no testing activity in.the past 2 months.
One of the higher up in the companh tell reporter that starting from mid-Nivember they encountered financial problem and investors no longer willing to fund it so peojects everywhere have been suspended. The only investor us alleged to collect fund itself illegally so it stopped investment on bustrain.
Also, accordibg to bustrain former employee, hundreds of engineers in the company are sent in from universities and car manufacturer, what they hire by themselves are only administrative and operational staff. Now there are many people starting to leave the job.
An earlier global times report once pointed out those testing wete just to earn credibility from.outside with real aim being attract more people to invest in their fund.
Bustrain inventor responded and said the company operates normally, last weeek they jave also checked it out. When being asked why the bus train is fully covered by ashes, he said that's the same for private car not washed a few days. He also vlaim the companh is contacting new investors and second test line will be setup in Henan.
