there's a physical connection between the rack line and the commuter line, but there are no through services, mostly because there's few rack units and they only get up to 45 km/h
on pic related there's no rack because it first runs to an intermediate station which is like 600 m away, and the rack part begins after that. It's pretty impressive tbqh.
