>>1038478Not him but I jump between different cars often. Sometimes up to 6 a day and travel through mountainous terrain with wreckless drivers.
They come in all shapes, sizes, transmissions and driving hands (Left hand dive or right hand drive)
Sure it takes the first thousand feet in a new car to get a vibe for its ride but that applies to both manual and automatic. My main concern is being able to gauge it's width as we are constantly squeezing through gaps.
I jump between; RHD automatic crossover to a LHD manual pickup to a RHD manual cabover dumptruck to a RHD automatic off roader to a LHD luxo barges, no problem. All that is a normal scenario as I work for one company, manage another, trying to get another going and have my own shit.
Automatic or manual is no problem in flat terrain. in traffic is the same, either is neither here nor there if you can actually drive and observe traffic flow, but as soon as you start looking at hills manuals make so much more sense.
The only "automatic only" advocates I know are the people who actually spend more time worrying about things other than driving. Americans mainly, pretty much exclusively.
You niggers can rant and rave about how you have to be so "aware" on a bicycle but as soon as you step into a car you fulfill the stereotype of being a filthy cager.
I also ride bicycles, motorbikes, pilot power and sail boats under 81 feet, walk and fly kites.....sometimes jump
