they have a fractional advantage over mountainbikes in winter and overrated
if you have any sort of grades to go up and more than 2 inches of powder you will be hiking next to it
they are pretty fun in the summer though, you can ride trails like a fucking retard and roll over everything and not give a fuck about crashing into shit or going in bad parts of trails that would have you tossed off a normal mountain bike
unbelievably slow on climbs, when you combine the weight+low pressure/huge tires you go insanely slow in the pedaling parts, descents are fun
