On March 2, 1970 the Burlington Northern railroad was created through the merger of the Great Northern (GN), Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (CBQ), and Northern Pacific (NP) systems. Today marks the 37th Anniversary of the creation of the railroad, so let's celebrate by posting BN and pre-BN merger stuff ITT.
