1) Commuter/grocery getter: A rigid steel 26er MTB frame. I've had the frame for nearly 10 years now. Currently dropbar-converted with fat 650b slicks. Big front basket.
2) Salsa Vaya Ti. Built for fast touring, I haven't ridden it in a while. Thinking of selling it.
3) Rando/gravel bike. Rigid steel frame, 3x9 MTB gearing, canti brakes. Climbs like a goat, descends like a rocket, shreds offroad. I ride it anywhere and everywhere.
4) Full-squish MTB: 2006 Spesh Epic.
I probably should buy a lightweight road bike at some point.
I want to replace the Vaya with a Jan Heine-esque "enduro allroad" bike. I like the front basket on the commuter, but it has high-trail steering geometry, which is the opposite of what one wants with a front load. The commuter is a real sketchy descender with a load on the front, and I want to give the low-trail life a try.
Probably going to replace the full-squish at some point within the next year, I've been looking at the Salsa Horsethief.
