all you have to do is adjust the seat a couple of degrees down to forward.
this result in a more uncomfortable seating but almost all your weight will be resting on your ass bones and none will press the taint.
downside: requires more effort to ride level
upside: your dick works

my problem with most seating is this:
either my prostate gets pressed or i lean back and then my tailbone gets pressed. now the tailbone does not get cancer but you can easily get get ulcers there. which are very bad news and will make you wish you never sat down.

so i try to alternate sitting upright or leaned forward but on half of my ass to relieve pressure from the taint area with leaned back posture where i try to sit on my glutes tucked under the bones and try to keep the lower spine in a netural position which is not easy.

and that's just car and office chairs.

it's probably even more of an issue if you wear padded shorts. the padding will be pressed hard by your harder parts and the saddle and will find their way pressing the very soft tissue where they do harm.

tldr put your seat to the right tilt so that maximum weight is supported by the ass bones and keep padding limited to that area. you will know that you got it right if it's uncomfortable to sit on your bike.

in theory a wider more padded seat on a drop seatpost will not be in the way so much on downhill and technical parts and provide a comfortable platfrom for cranking away.

Will a nice padded seat help?

I found it's more comfortable to have the seat tilt forward anyways and off my taint region. If my ass starts to hurt I just stand up on the cranks for a minute. Or get off and push my bike. I'm a filthy casual like that.

no, more padded seats are fine for short rides in an upright position. long rides in a forward leaning aggressive position require saddles with little padding. now a good saddle will have a flex to it as you pedal. so the peaks in pressure on your sitting bones are not that high. so they are not quiet hard despite being unpadded.
