37.4 km/hr for one hour. I hate the flats, it was some time ago and I have gained some mass so I guess my average is a little higher now.

My only reference is multi day touring. I aim for 100km a day on flattish stages. That usually translates to a 24 kmh average.

Honestly? I have no fking idea. Around these parts (SoCal) you'll rarely be able to encounter ideal conditions - you have crosswinds, hills, pedestrian/cyclists traffic.

Cruising is easily 16-18mph for 1:30.
Top sustained is 20-21mph for 45 minutes.
23mph+ for 5-10 minutes at most.

Depends on distance.

When I was doing a cycle tour it was 25kmph for 200km a day.

50km I can do about 45kmph for 70 or so minutes it takes.

100-120km can sustain about 32-35kmph

I think you need to check your speedometer wheel diameter settings because that simply isn't the truth. You using GPS for your numbers?

But my daily ride is exactly 58 minutes and mostly uphill with intermittent flats, which puts my average at 20 kph*
