- Despite JR East/West's plan to provide free wifi by 2020, there are no plan from JR Central about it. Thus tourists can't use the time to arrange their travel plan and they can't use the tine to send the beauty of Japan to the world.
- JR pass cannot be used on Nozomi and Mizuho which are the fastest and the apex of Japanese tech, therefore the pass is not attractive to foreign tourist
- The SmartEx shinkansen booking system that recently opened to foreigners does not support JR pass which make it meaningless
- Booking system of Japanese rail companies usually only allow one changes after booking which's inconvenient
- Lack of basic services that are common sense to the world is damaging to the brand of Shinkansen
- Operators usually only think of Japanese people in term of pax service, but it's also important to let foreigners to experience shinkansen in order to sell thr tech overseas.
- The price of JR Central Shinkansen ticket are too high conpared to service quality which probably reflect JR Central's monopoly on the high speed rail route, and the convenience as well as comfort during journey are also important from users' point of view
- JR do not place hammer in Shinkansen train because it's safe and even when extreme incident occur, hammer won't help, or to showcase the technology that make hammer redundant, but that's JR Central's arrogant
