(No snow/hazards, ability to more effectively automate because weather/temp don't impact max speed, reinforced dividers on turns to prohibit derailing, etc)
As it stands now rail is only good for mass transport and predictable transport. Sure you can make an argument that it works for rail towns, but they're fucking rail towns.
