Greyhound riders are the worst human beings in the world and Greyhound packs you in with those people. I don't think I've been on one where there isn't at least one schizophrenic cat lady losing her shit completely.
Even if it's a 4-5 hour trip, you have some space, people aren'tcrazy, seats are comfier, and you can get snacks or drinks whenever. Unless you're totally destitute, I don't see any reason to choose Greyhound over Amtrak.
