Once I had my boots strapped to the exhaust of a tank and got dragged across a whole airfield as a form of punishment but that was when I was in the military

Got to ride a hovercraft in Miami. Fun! On a lake, headed full speed to rocky shoreline, I'm instinctively bracing for a crunch on the rocks. Going over the rocks was exactly as smooth as going over the water. Also, drifting sideways and doing 360s without changing direction. Highly recommended.

Basicly a tire with a plasic seat on a long rope towed by a V-8 powered winch.

Person ferry in Hamburg. You can use it with the same ticket you use for underground and bus. You get to see some monuments from a unique perspective and it really doesn't take toooo long.
While from the Elbphilharmonie to Jungfernsteg it would be 4 minutes with bus, it takes you 10 minutes with ferry (same side of the river Elbe), but as said, it's a cool experience.

Had the opportunity to drive one Iveco Lince around the training track at the CAE (Special Training Centre) of the Guardia Civil at Logroño with a Special Operation 1st Sargent teaching me some tricks.

I drove one of these things for a few years. It's a bomb lift truck, the design is from the 60s. Little diesel engine (that runs on JP-8), rear wheel steering, no suspension, hydrostatic drive, front brake only. They're a god damn hand full on rough roads and in snow and ice. Kind of an odd ball machine, but they have been admirably doing the job since the Vietnam War.
