As soon as September hits I see lots of roller skis on the MUP. Many locals take their nordic skiiing very seriously training several months before it snows. Yet if they see one fat bike tire mark on their precious trails all hell breaks loose.

The sad part is that skateskiers absolutely fucking ANNIHILATE their own groomed trails.

Bottom line: Rollerskis do not belong on walking trails. They do not belong on MUPs. They certainly do not belong on bike paths. And they ABSOLUTELY do not belong in the road, ever.

The shitters need to be illegal on public paths.
If it is so important to them, they can go wave their sticks on a closed course.

I haven't seen any of those roller-bladders-with-stick-guys here in SoCal but I do hate roller bladers in general because they swerve from one end of the bike lane to another, making it hard to pass. I will say that qt roller blade girls have nice legs and butts.

Just moved to anchorage and I have been seeing a lot of these guys on the trails. Haven't had any real issue passing them though, so I don't see the issue unless you're some butthurt lycra speed fag who has to momentarily slow down for 15 seconds to pass them. I'm more concerned about the trails in the winter and having run ins with skiers or getting bitched at because I made ruts in the snow with my tires.
