And I'm sure OP's bus had plenty of seats left, he just had to stand out of autism and not having to sit next to some filthy normie. People got thrown around in the bus because there was a 115 kg anon in his fedora and pony-shirt blocking the aisle.

The trams in the suburbs run on tracks in the middle of the road that cars are allowed on; however, the trams stop in the middle of the road and open their doors, and the traffic behind them must stop to let passengers board and alight.

This bus route has to deal with on-street parking being around the bus stop and pulling out into traffic again after stopping. There are other bus routes towards the city that have a bus lane but this bus route goes between railway lines.

7/10 have done it this way for about a decade now and have about 3 decades more to go until I can retire and just go on nice morning cruises like I do on the weekends.

I have a similar problem here. There's a bus route serving the street on which I live, but I usually walk the 2-3 extra minutes to the tram/light rail service. ~80% of the buses are operated by Deutsche Bahn and they are UTTER FUCKING SHIT.

The fucking thing would arrive 20 min late, it was full of degenerates that didn't even pay, and it was full of crazy high ass, smelly monkeys.

Final straw was when a train hit one of those monkeys and the whole line shut down. Monkeys on the train start squawking about the train is a piece if shit for always be hitting people n shit.[sic] I chose to jog the remaining mile home rather than wait for the bus that was coming.

Went back to driving to work after that.
