And the fact of the matter is that used units hit the A380 much harder than they do for say the 737 or A320. Most of the airlines that have even ever had a tiny interest in the A380 don't give a fuck about the hyper-luxury bullshit that Emirates does and just thought about having a plane that could fit as many people as possible.
Cancellation is merely a formality. Many airlines have simply said they will never take possession of their orders, which means there are going to be even more delivered, but unused units on the secondary and lease markets.
The program is completely fucked and AIrbus is only delaying the inevitable while continue to do self-inflicted damage to their broader business.
