To give a quick rundown:In the 1950's Interflug, the airline of East Germany was looking for a replacement for their Soviet IL-14 fleet. VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden made their own indigenous design, even with engines made in the DDR. On the 4th of December in 1958 the 152 made it's first flight, and on the 4th of March 1959, that same prototype was lost in a crash that killed the whole crew. The Soviet Union ordered East Germany to seize production of the DDR, as they feared it would rival the sales of soviet airliners such as the Tu-154.
It would have been interesting to see this plane go into production, here is one of the few photos that was taken of this aircraft.
The history of this is so short and obscure that I thought it was fictional when I was looking for FSX freeware.
