Walking is truly a form of transportation, especially when there's no transportation in your town. What was your most recent or interesting walk from point A to point B?
Recently, I walked half an hour home from a movie theatre, near midnight. An uneventful walk, with many sodium vapor lamps on.
In other towns, and my own, I've often come across crosswalk signs that don't work: never changing from the red hand no matter what the part of the cycle the traffic lights are on. I choose not to cross there, but to find a street with a median in it, so crossing is less likely to kill me. How do you deal with broken pedestrian crossings?
